This is a test of the Ustream producer app. The only reason I am even considering purchasing this application is: Ustream has changed something with respect to being viewed on the iPhone. I was streaming with FME (flash media encoder) my video settings was VP6 res 640 x 360 or 480 x 360 and for audio I was using mp3. All was fine, I had several people send me screenshots from their iPhones of me streaming. –>
But now it was brought to my attention that I was no longer listed in the live shows on the ustream app on the iphone. A quick search by one of my viewers turned up that in order to be seen on the iPhone you must use the ustream producer application or you can use FME with H.264 Video not VP6 and the AAC audio codec not mp3. Which they provide a link to the AAC Codec that you can purchase for $200! Let’s just say I was not extremely happy. So now the question: since I have to spend $200 on either the AAC audio codec or on the ustream producer pro application which one should I get?
